The wonderful views of the beach from this ocean front condo will keep you mesmerized! Sit out on the nice size patio to have your morning coffee while watching the dolphins frolic in the waves. The master bedroom holds a king size bed, the second bedroom holds a queen size bed, the third bedroom holds 2 twins and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two new 42" flat screens TVs in this unit for your viewing pleasure. Catch the sunset from the western facing balcony! You can also watch the action down at the B building pool as well. Reservations of 5 nights or more include linens and towels with beds made. Located in Building A. NO PETS ALLOWED.
Summer Winds provides an amazing number of recreational amenities that make it "the vacation spot" of choice for renters year after year. Available for your leisure are three large outdoor pools with tanning decks; a heated indoor pool; both indoor and outdoor hot tubs; men and women's saunas; as well as a professionally equipped exercise facility. Our sports complex center also features racquetball, basketball, and lighted tennis courts to cater to the active competitors in your family. There is also an arcade with a snack bar. NO BOAT PARKING.
Additionally, Summer Winds offers an ideal setting for groups and meetings with its conference facilities, lounge, and security staff. Nearby you'll enjoy local dining, golf courses, and shopping.

Location is the best aspect
This unit is clearly dated and not well-loved. Lightbulbs were out or missing, appliances had nonfunctioning parts, the unit was poorly provisioned, and there was general sense of shabbiness. That said, the views are awesome and the overall SummerWinds complex is a very nice place to stay. Will recommend as long as the renter goes in without too high expectations.

Disappointed
The Realty company was very nice and helpful. As far as the rental property, ugh.... The shower curtain in the shared bathroom was moldy, so we went and bought one to replace it. The floors throughout were filthy. Our socks turned black from walking throughout the condo. Our whole reason for staying here was for the inside pool and hot tub, which neither were working! I understand things happen, but it didn’t work the WHOLE time we were there! We would have stayed in Topsail by the marine base had we known this! We did not have hot water the first night or morning that we got there. A maintenance man had to come fix it. Our positive was the view we had.

Lovely view from a perfect unit
We had a wonderful mini-stay at this unit over Thanksgiving 2022. The view was perfect from the balcony for both sunrise and sunset, and the picture window overlooking the ocean was spectacular for the odd rainy day (as was the warm indoor pool and hot tub). The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable for us to fit all 6 of us easily!

Amazing view
The unit had an amazing view of the ocean. the facility has numerous pools and great access to the beach. The unit needs to be updated. The beds were comfortable. The unit wasn't thoroughly cleaned.

Great View
The location was breathtaking. The view was worth it all. The key gave some trouble to get in the apartment. There was a sewage like smell that was present when we turned on the water (had to purchase air freshener). The second bathtub/shower could use some cleaning (on the knob and curtain) the size is very small as well. However, if you take away those little things the place was great. The gate people where extra friendly (as well as the residence) the beds were comfortable and the amenities were great. I would definitely return.

Happy Renter
Our family enjoyed the weeklong stay at this Summer Winds property. It is conveniently located between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach, so we were within reasonable driving distance to lots of attractions. The rental company was very friendly and helpful. The condo was properly prepared for our visit, but could use a deep clean. Overall, we had a great time on vacation and would visit this location again.

Awesome View and Great Condo
Our family had a wonderful vacation. Indian Beach is between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle which is a perfect location. We really enjoyed the outdoor pools and hot tub. The condo was comfortable, clean and has an amazing view. The kitchen had everything that you need to cook but we also enjoyed delicious meals at Island Grill and Amos Mosquito.

Best Family Vacation
Our family of five loved Summer Winds and especially this unit with ocean front and the view of the pool. The kids amenities were great also. It only rained one day and we used the indoor pool and game room on that day. We also used the indoor pool when my 4 and 6 year old wanted to get out of the sun. I would definitely recommend this unit and the realty company was great to work with.

Spring break getaway
Great condo. A cold front came in just in time for our stay so we spent more time indoors than we had wanted but the condo was very comfortable and I was able to keep the front window open so we could still hear the waves. It was a beautiful view and it looks like it would be a ton of fun in the summer. My one suggestion would be to replace the front door handles/locks. They were very hard to unlock with the key.

Christmas stay at Summer Winds
We stayed over Christmas weekend at Summer Winds Unit 501 and we found the unit to be very adequate for our needs. The condo was very clean the kitchen was Equipped with all the appliances we needed. There was a power outage while we were there and the rental manager was quick to help getting power back.

Amazing views of the ocean!
Unit is exactly as described. Amazing views of the beach and super easy access to beach and pool. Good sized bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, balcony overlooking beach/pool. Lots of great shopping near by but I suggest you get groceries on your way in to avoid doubling back. Realty Company was super easy to deal with and highly recommend this unit/area.
