Endless ocean views from this three bedroom oceanfront condo! The lovely views and lovely interior are a winning combination. The master bedroom holds a queen size bed, the second bedroom holds another queen and the third bedroom holds one twin and one full size beds. The kitchen and baths are updated with modern fixtures. Reservations of 5 nights or more include linens and towels with beds made. This unit rents Saturday to Saturday. Located in Building A. NO PETS ALLOWED.
Summer Winds provides an amazing number of recreational amenities that make it "the vacation spot" of choice for renters year after year. Available for your leisure are three large outdoor pools with tanning decks; a heated indoor pool; both indoor and outdoor hot tubs; men and women's saunas; as well as a professionally equipped exercise facility. Our sports complex center also features racquetball, basketball, and lighted tennis courts to cater to the active competitors in your family. There is also an arcade with a snack bar. NO BOAT PARKING.
Additionally, Summer Winds offers an ideal setting for groups and meetings with its conference facilities, lounge, and security staff. Nearby you'll enjoy local dining, golf courses, and shopping.

We loved this location. Our unit was nice but we had an obstruction with many support steel shores/posts on our balcony due to construction repairs that we weren't notified about during the reservation process. Also, charged over $200 additional to be supplied with towels and bed linens

My family enjoyed our stay at Summer Winds. The first day we had to call Realty World about the TV’s & dampness issue in a bedroom & closet. A staff member promptly addressed our concerns.

Rental was great with two big oversights! 1). Oceanfront condo but was not told the balcony was closed for repairs. This should have been communicated in the listing. 2). No tvs worked. We had a computer to supplement but again, unacceptable

Sister’s Getaway
Our trip was a 3 day getaway to the beach! The condo was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen BUT the best part is the amazing view of the ocean! The unit is in the corner which gives you a side view and overlooks the pool. It was close to the beach access too! We loved our stay and hope to stay again soon!

Great Family Vacation
We have stayed at Summer Winds many (15?) times and this was our second time in unit 201. The unit is in a great location and, while the unit has had a little wear and tear, it is well equipped and we love the layout. The cleaning company did not leave the unit clean so we did some cleaning ourselves. Our Realty World agent, Annette, was VERY helpful and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. All of the appliances worked great, especially the washer and dryer.

Loved this place!
This complex is great the way the pools and buildings are layed out, you are close to a pool and the beach in any unit. Very easy to go up to the room throughout the day. Pools are lovely. Beach is nice and not too crowded! Hot tub was great too.

Spectacular week
Brought my two elementary age sons here for Spring Break. It had everything we needed wanted: indoor/outdoor pool, game room, basketball court, and the beach! Condo was clean and spacious. Location was right near putt putt, restaurants, the Aquarium, etc. We met friendly people and had a ball. The place is a little dated, but the 1985 vibe suited us perfectly. Highly recommend.

Great fall getaway
Great place. Well equipped and extremely clean. Outstanding location where you can walk to beach or pool. If it’s cool you have heated pool or hot tub. Restaurants close by; one walking distance. Better dining for adults. No lifeguard at pool or beach so a concern for some.

Great Vacation Spot!
This facility meets all expectations and more. It was clean and the location was perfect. The only downside was we had to supply everything, from dish soap and bathroom hand soap to coffee filters and napkins. Other than those minor inconveniences, I couldn't ask for a more perfect family vacation spot. We will definitely be visiting again!

The unit was spotless and the view was spectacular!!!! We loved listening to and gazing at the ocean from our window or balcony. Beach access is a super short walk away and since it was cold & rainy we enjoyed the indoor pool & hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great mini vacay
This was a great space for a mini vacay for our family while our kids were home from college on Spring break! It was spacious, clean and had a fantastic view! We were right on the beach and enjoyed walks and gorgeous sunsets! Was sad to leave and would have loved to have stayed longer! This is a unit we will definitely consider renting again!

Spectacular Views Indeed
My husband & I spent a glorious, peaceful Christmas week at this condo.With it being just the 2 of us, the condo was very spacious, even if our adult children would have came it would have been more than enough room. It was perfect location being in the middle of the island, with breathtaking sunrises & sunsets right from the comfort of the couch as well as the spacious deck, as the weather was perfect. The booking was not only easy but Mardi at Reality World was friendly & knowledgeable of the area and the complex. As future homeowners on this peaceful island, SummerWinds is a definite top contender as we loved the gated complex with its very well maintained grounds, friendly staff, indoor & outdoor pools as well as many other amenities. 25 Years Plus at Summer Winds
Our Family has been vacationing at Summer Winds now for over 25 years. Any where from 2 to 9 condos depending on the group that year. Reality World is by far the better rental agent to rent from. Three pools to choose from and the Cafe on site is wonderful.

Overall, this was a positive experience. The property description and other reviews are spot on. The owner has done a nice job of updating and continuing to invest in the property. Really did not have a time where I felt like something was missing. The private internet for the unit was a nice bonus. The Summer Winds provided internet was spotty. Did not have a hotel feel even though a high rise which was nice. Seemed like a mix of owner occupied units and rentals.Loved the beach location and feel of the island. Not overbuilt like other areas. The ocean water was not rough so easier for younger kids to get in the water. Several activities nearby for the not perfect beach days (NC Aquarium, Fort Macon, Beaufort, mini-golf/go karts). Will definitely consider going back to the area and this location when planning for vacation next year.
